Where is your studio?
My studio is located at 1424 Buffalo Rd Rochester, NY 14624.
What kind of props do you have?
For newborn sessions I have everything we need for the baby. I have a very large collection of wraps, outfits, headbands, hats, fabrics, greenery, flowers, bowls, beds, buckets and more. If you have any items you would like to bring with you please let me know ahead of time.
For one year sessions I have cake stands, a variety of letters that spell ONE, a large number one, small chairs, benches, twinkle lights and different garlands/banners. If you wish to bring helium filled balloons you can do so. For cake smash sessions you will need to provide the cake. Bakery recommendations can be provided upon request.
What should I bring to a newborn session?
I have a complete Newborn Session prep guide that will answer most of your questions regarding our session! Upon booking you will receive a copy to review and please let me know if you have any additional questions.
How long will it take to receive my gallery?
The full gallery will be delivered within 21 business days from the session. During my busy seasons this may be stretched just a bit as I am usually shooting every day. Galleries can take up to 30 business days during peak season. Sneak peeks are a courtesy and will be provided if my schedule allows.
Do you offer print packages?
I do! I have beautiful prints if you are interested in purchasing art for your walls. All packages include a print release allowing you to print wherever you would like, but I do have the option for high quality professional prints. Please avoid printing at places like CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, etc. These places tend to use a very low quality ink and paper. I want your beautiful images to print the same way you view them in your gallery! If you want to print on your own I suggest mpix.
How far in advance should I contact you?
My schedule is known to book up well in advance. I suggest reaching out at least 8 weeks prior to when you are looking to have your session. Newborns are scheduled as early as the beginning of the second trimester. One year birthday sessions should be scheduled at least 2-3 months before your child's birthday as these sessions take place 3-4 weeks prior to their birthday. My busiest seasons are Spring, Fall and Christmas. If you are looking to have photos done during peak season please reach out to me to book at least 8 weeks prior if not sooner.
I decided on a package and want to book. What is the next step?
I can't wait to work with you! All sessions require a non refundable retainer at booking. Your session cannot be reserved on my calendar without a retainer. Please send me a message through the contact page or feel free to message my Facebook page. We will pick a date and time that is best for you based on my availability. Outdoor family sessions are scheduled for golden hour, 1-2 hours before sunset. Newborn and child sessions in studio are scheduled for weekday mornings or early afternoon.
Do you offer gift cards?
I do offer gift cards in any dollar amount. Gift cards are non-refundable. Please send me a message if you'd like to purchase a gift card.
